Ozzfest page
Ozzfest 2004 was by far the best concert I have ever been to. It had possibly the best lineup that I have seen so far in one day. Bands that kicked ass: BLACK FUCKING SABBATH (Ozzy is still alive and well and man can they put on one hell of a show), Judas Priest (I was actually suprised by how good they were, put Death still put out a better version of Painkiller), Slayer (What can I say about Slayer I mean it just as easily could have been called Slayerfest with all the Slayer fans there), Dimmu Borgir (Black Metal!!), Black Label Society (Zakk Wylde is a god), Lamb of God (damn those guys got the hugest Pit I have seen), Otep, Lacuna Coil, Atreyu (this band rules so much more live than I assumed they would), and God Forbid. I actually wanted to see Slipknot just because of the whole aura that surrounds them but was relitively dissappointed (played Duality and Wait and Bleed, but otherwise kinda sucked). There were other bands there but they were kind of ass metal.
Metallica: No they weren't at Ozzfest but I saw them 2 days later so I'll just put it on this page. Damn they can still put on quite a show playing a lot of old classics as I had hoped like Four Horsemen, Seek and Destroy, Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, Blackened, Fade to Black, and a lot more. The most noteworthy song to me was their performance of One. It was the coolest stage performance I have seen with a whole lot of explosions and the lighting above the stage falling all over the place and burning.
The thing that sux is I couldn't take any pictures because you couldn't take any cameras in. Damn I should have bought a disposible camera.
Ohhh I gotta try this sometime. This is the reason Lamb of God was so hardcore: http://www.ozzfest.com/timages/page/media/WallofDeath2.mov
